#ericknica2015 Supplier Reviews (Part 2)

Here is Part 2 of my reviews. 🙂

OTD Coordinator: Imbitado Events
Rating: 5/5
Feedback: Imbitado Events has good feedbacks from other brides I got to know at Weddings@Work as well as my friends/acquaintances who got them as coordinator. So we went ahead with them. Ayie is very prompt in replying to our emails. Before the wedding, I can just send her email of I have questions and she answered within the day. I was able to meet her twice during our early preps and then three days before our big day.

On the wedding day, they were the first ones to arrive at the preps place and I didn’t have to instruct them what to do although there were some things I wasn’t able to hand over properly. They have the initiative to find out things for themselves. During the preps, they didn’t bother me with questions and resolved things on their own.

What I really appreciated about them is that when they saw the reception styling was beautiful they asked one of the photographers to go to the venue and take photos while there are no guests yet. I really thought of this idea but I forgot to tell them because I had so many things on my mind prior to the wedding day.

Our guests also commended them. No dull moments according to them during the wedding because of the OTD coord. They will tell them the activities that they can participate in or do while waiting for us finish our post-nup session. One of our ninong who is into events planning thought we paid 100k for the OTD coordinator… hahaha! He was so impressed how organized our wedding was. Hands down to Imbitado Events!

One minor glitch according to our Maid of Honor and Best Man is that they weren’t instructed what to do at the front during the ceremony. It was their first time to do that roles. They said they would have appreciated simple instructions especially during the contract signing part.

Pre-nup and Wedding Photo Coverage: Ruffa and Mike Photography
Rating: 5/5
Feedback:
It took us three months to look and decide for our wedding photographers. We wanted vibrant, natural, and crisp shots and I must say there were a lot of photographers who qualified. So next we looked at was their rates and packages  offered. Among all that we shortlisted, we booked Ruffa and Mike Photography because for us their package was value for money. We booked them thru a bridal fair so we got 10% off their 2013 rate for their most expensive package.

Prenup – We were fortunate that they covered a wedding in Singapore and they were able to squeeze our prenup session in between. We only paid 5k for the out of town fee. We had our shoot in 3 places: Botanic Gardens. Marina Barrage and Gardens by the Bay. We loved the raw photos although I noticed that hubby’s sweat can be seen. It can really get so humid and hot in SG! We asked them if they can edit and they did. Good thing also that hubby is quite good in Photoshop so he was able to edit some photos. We were pleased when we saw our prenup rain photo in the W@W 2015 desktop calendar for the month of September. All our efforts and little sacrifices that day paid off!

Wedding Day Coverage – Mike is a perfectionist I must say which is good because he will not settle for so and so shots. I just felt a little tired posing. Haha When he’s not totally satisfied he will ask you to pose some more because he wants the best shots. We super love our onsite AVP and the song they used. They captured the day perfectly. They gave us 378 edited photos although in the contract it said 200 photos only. We have yet to select photos for our wedding album though.

They are also the suppliers that have concern to their clients. Because the night before the wedding, the mannequin for my gown was missing. We couldn’t find it so to make the story short we were able to borrow from another supplier and they picked it up it on their way to Tagaytay. We ran out of option who will pick up and we checked with RM if they can help us. We’re grateful that the supplier’s shop was on their way so RM picked it up.

Video: Jake Olaso Wedding Films
Rating: 5/5
Freebie: Save the Date video
Feedback: We have only good things to say about Jake. Everything we asked he tried his best to accommodate us. He is nice and generous. From waiving the OOT fee to the aerial shots we wanted, Jake gave it all. Our SDE is beyond our expectation. It was perfect for us and even our families and friends loved it. We gave him a list of what shots to include in the SDE especially the aerial shots we wanted. He didn’t promise he said he will try because it will depend on the weather but come wedding day he wowed us with the SDE. It was so beautifully made. I let him decide the song to use since I trust his taste when it comes to the song choices. The way he made the video was like a story. Thanks also sa mga DIY namin kase nagamit yun as props for weaving our love story.

During the preps, we noticed that only his shooters would direct us like we were thinking where was Jake? But he was the one who edited the video. It turned out to be very well-liked among our guests. We were touched that even some of guests posted our SDE at their own Facebook timeline.

We also got a free save the date video from him because we booked the tandem RM X JO.
